Features:
  • Assisting in the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease
  • Quantitative detection of Tau protein concentration in human plasma
Description

Tau protein is a microtubule-associated protein that has the functions of maintaining the structure of nerve cells and assisting in the transport of substances. If the Tau protein function is abnormal, it will cause nerve fibers to become tangled and accumulate. The most famous is Alzheimer's disease (AD). In addition, Pick's disease, Parkinson's disease (PD), Progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) and corticobasal degeneration (CBD) are also related to the mutation of this protein.

This product uses the immunomagnetic reduction assay to quantitatively detect the concentration of Tau protein in human plasma, or the product of its concentration and the concentration measured by the "Magqu" Amyloid β 1-42 (Aβ1-42) IMR reagent (Aβ1-42 x Tau) as the detection value. It needs to be combined with clinical data and other test results as a reference to assist in the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease.

Just can be used as one of the reference materials for clinical diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, and the results of this test cannot be used as the only basis for diagnostic confirmation, currently.
